Hello and welcome to our new blog! Many of you may be familiar with our popular “Ask the Concierge” column on the Hotel Maison de Ville’s website. Well, we decided to take that a step further and create a blog as a means of talking with our dear friends and future guests about the Hotel and the surrounding areas as well as answer any questions you all might have. New Orleans is an exciting city, and while we may be a bit biased, we firmly believe that EVERYONE should come and visit us to experience the history and culture that is so abundant here in Louisiana.
We look forward to welcoming you to our city and to our hotel.

I am so glad you started a blog. Half the fun of an upcoming trip is planning and dreaming about it, so this is a great way to check in and see what is going on. My husband and I will be arriving in June. It is my 4th trip to New Orleans and I am so excited to be staying at Hotel Maison de Ville. I have walked by many times and thought it is very lovely.

Thanks for your message, Darla. June is a great time to visit because it is not very crowded in the city and it hasn’t quite reached the super hot summer temps. Please let us know if you have any questions about your upcoming stay with us and we look forward to seeing you in June!
Best,
Courtney & Vickie

I have an event that I am in the process of planning. Due to my family history, I feel this is the best location for it. It will take place in either June/July 2009. I have yet to select an exact date but I was wondering if you had an indoor facility for events, the availability of the hall, and it’s price. Please let me know as soon as possible.
Thank you in advanced,
Krystin

Hi Krystin,
Thanks for your interest in Hotel Maison de Ville and the Audubon Cottages. Although we do not have any indoor function space for your event, we do have fantastic courtyards that can be used for cocktail parties, weddings and receptions. Our restaurant, The Bistro at Maison de Ville, is also available for private functions. For more information about The Bistro, you can contact Chef Greg Picolo directly at chef@hotelmaisondeville.com
Thanks for thinking of us!
